Our coffee plantation thrives in Myanmar’s mountains, enveloped in mist and nurtured by fertile soil, resulting in a uniquely delightful flavour profile. At an elevation of 1,082m above sea level, our coffee cultivation employs ancestral methods, ensuring a deep connection to the land. Each harvest captures the mountain's essence, infusing every cup with tradition and authenticity. The coffee beans that are harvested in this magical place by Creation Myanmar are packaged as Shan Mountains. We are proud to say that our Shan Mountains coffee isn't merely a beverage - it is an exploration of sensations, an ode to nature's beauty, and a celebration of our profound affection for coffee.
OUR ASPIRATIONS
We aim to deliver exceptional quality coffee beans to our customers around the world while promoting sustainable and equitable practices throughout the coffee supply chain. We have committed ourselves to this in a number of ways, including following GAP guidelines that we learned before the covid pandemic, during our certified period (2018-2020). We continue to operate many of these practices such as enhancements in agricultural methods, the implementation of climate-smart practices, and the adoption of improved processing techniques. We intend to get certified again in 2024.
We collaborate with local brokers who export our coffee but in the future we plan to export directly to foreign buyers and also branch out into powdered coffee. Our aspirations extend to entering the European and Asian markets to broaden our reach.
BREWING CHANGE
We are deeply committed to investing in our team to build a brighter future. Within our farm, we employ 12 full-time team members, in addition to one consultant. Furthermore, we have established collaborative relationships with 57 farmers, 37 of whom are women and 20 are young individuals from Monywa. These farmers are provided with accommodation in proximity to our farm, located in Pwe Kauk Village, Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay, Myanmar.
Our commitment to our team extends across various facets of their lives. From healthcare to education, maternity support to wedding assistance, and provisions for schools, we have woven a safety net dedicated to enhancing the holistic well-being of our employees. Additionally, we offer a monthly baby allowance that spans the early years, continuing until the child reaches the age of 5.
