OUR FARMERS

BREWING CHANGE

We are deeply committed to investing in our team to build a brighter future. Within our farm, we employ 12 full-time team members, and one consultant. Furthermore, we have established collaborative relationships with 57 farmers, 37 of whom are women and 20 are young individuals. As they hail from Monywa, we provide them with accommodation close to our own farm in Pwe Kauk Village, Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay, Myanmar.

It is important to us to take care of our team. This comes in the form of provisions for healthcare, education, maternity support to wedding assistance, and donations for schools. Additionally, we offer a monthly baby allowance for staff that spans the early years, continuing until the age of 5. We have woven a safety net that is dedicated to improving the holistic health and well-being of our employees.

We foster an ethical growth cycle through the guiding principles of responsible farming and strengthening our partnerships through fair trade. This not only benefits local farmers but also contributes to a brighter future for them and their families. To advance our position in the coffee industry and uplift the farming community, we collaborate with a coffee consultant to elevate our agricultural practices and enhance our product's quality. Simultaneously, our coffee farm manager is an active member of the Myanmar Coffee Association. He conducts insightful awareness training sessions that focus on refining our processing methods.

Beyond our immediate team and workers, we are always willing to extend a helping hand to the community around us. For example, amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, we distributed crucial resources such as oxygen concentrators, air purifiers, rice, oil, and sustenance to COVID centres, local offices, villages, and monasteries. dedication to supporting those in need.
